Robert Drescher, CEO
Robert has more than 20 years of experience building and growing entrepreneurial teams and has been at the helm of Cellfire since 2010.
Prior to joining Cellfire, Robert was the CEO of SoftCoin which was sold to You Technologies. Prior to his work at SoftCoin, Robert was President and CEO of Optivo Corporation, a venture-funded start-up offering innovative e-business applications to drive profitability for on-line retailers. He has also held executive roles at Oblix, where he was responsible for developing and implementing the venture-funded company's marketing strategy, as well as Aspect Telecommunications and VeriFone, Inc. He has held various positions with the ROLM Corporation and as a Management Consultant with McKinsey and Company. Robert holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and master's degrees in both engineering and business from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Frank Careccia, Vice President of Engineering & CTO
As head of engineering, Frank is responsible for the development, deployment, and operation of Cellfire's mobile coupon and discount offer service. Frank is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience in global, mid-sized and start-up companies where he has brought a number of wireless, enterprise level, and infrastructure applications to market. Prior to joining Cellfire, Frank was VP of Engineering at Obopay where he delivered their first complete mobile payment platform and mobile client covering most of today's popular Brew and J2ME phones. Frank has held executive level engineering positions at IPLocks Inc, Brandsoft, Inc, Visto Corp, Inprise/Borland Corp, and BMC Software. Frank holds an MBA from Houston Baptist University, a BS in Systems Engineering and Operation Research from Polytechnic Institute of New York, and has done advanced studies at Lehigh University.
Wes Horvath, Vice President of Sales & Business Development
Wes is responsible for growing Cellfire's retail and grocery network nationally. Wes brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and new product development, with an emphasis on loyalty marketing in the grocery and consumer packaged goods business. Wes most recently was Vice President Business Development with the Loyalty One division of Alliance Data Systems (ADS), where he identified and executed strategic business relationships with leading North American grocers. Prior to ADS he spent eight years in business development with Safeway. While there, Wes was instrumental in building the Blackhawk Network, which today is the world's largest provider of third party prepaid cards. His background also includes serving as a member of the sales team of Internet advertising network, The Flycast Network, and was an integral part of their $300 million dollar IPO and acquisition by CMGI. Wes earned a BS degree in Business from Central Connecticut State University
