Cellfire taps Priyen Doshi as VP, Engineering

 

Santa Clara, Ca - March 23, 2006 - Moonstorm, provider of premiere mobile coupon application Cellfire has hired Priyen Doshi as vice president of engineering where he will be responsible for development and engineering activities related to Cellfire, announced Brent Dusing, Cofounder and CEO at Moonstorm.

"Cellfire has already proven to be an innovator in the emerging field of mobile marketing allowing people to save money by redeeming coupons easily," says Priyen. "I am excited about becoming a part of the Cellfire team as it gears up for its national launch."

With 17 years of engineering and product management experience in mobile networks, communication and technology, Doshi has worked with many mobile operators, handset vendors and mobile technology providers around the world including Insignia Solutions Inc., Openwave Systems (Phone.com and Software.com) and @Motion Inc. (acquired by Phone.com).

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in electronics and communications from Gujarat University, India and holds three patents for his work at @Motion Inc.
